How to create a PowerPoint from multiple images
When every image should fill one slide, creating a PPTX in bulk is faster than inserting files one by one. FileTools creates widescreen slides in the order you select the images and processes them in your browser.
Steps
- Choose the images for your presentation.
- Select them in slide order.
- Create the PPTX and check it in PowerPoint or a compatible app.
When is this workflow useful?
It works well for photo decks, portfolios, product screenshots, and simple image-per-slide reports. Each image becomes one widescreen slide for quick organization.
For complex animations, editable text, charts, or a shared master layout, continue editing the generated deck in PowerPoint.
How to keep the slides consistent
Use a consistent image ratio and orientation when possible, and rename files with 01, 02, and 03 prefixes before selecting them. Images with different ratios may show whitespace to avoid cropping content.
Check the first, last, and a few differently sized images after generation to confirm the deck opens correctly in your presentation software.
At a glance
Best for: Photo portfolios, mood boards, product galleries, and simple visual presentations.
Input: JPG, PNG, or WebP images
Output: An editable widescreen PPTX with one image per slide
Before downloading
- Use images with a consistent orientation and sufficient resolution.
- Put the files in presentation order before creating the deck.
- Open the PPTX and add titles, captions, and accessibility descriptions where needed.
Why is part of an image cropped?
The presentation uses a widescreen slide ratio. Images with another ratio may be fitted with empty space or cropped depending on the layout. Preparing all images at 16:9 gives the most consistent result.
Can I edit the image after downloading?
The images are placed as slide objects, so PowerPoint and compatible editors can move, resize, crop, or replace them. The pixels inside each image are not converted into separate editable shapes.
