Rotate images
Rotate images by 90, 180, or 270 degrees.
How it works
- Choose or drop your files
- Select “Open image studio” and let your browser process it
- Review the result and download it to your device
Why use FileTools for rotate images?
Rotation rewrites the image pixels into the selected orientation. It is useful when camera metadata is ignored by another app or a scan was captured sideways.
Best suited for
Phone photos, scanned receipts, document images, and assets with an incorrect visible orientation.
Input and output
Input: JPG, PNG, or WebP images and a 90°, 180°, or 270° rotation.
Output: A newly encoded image with the rotation applied to its pixels.
Known limitation
Metadata outside the visible pixels may not be copied. Re-encoding a JPG can introduce a small additional quality loss.
Practical tips
- Preview the result before downloading a large batch.
- If the original only looks rotated in one program, test the downloaded result in a second viewer.
